MGSV: Ground Zeroes – May 1st, Update

Remember those brand exlusive bonus content offered with Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes specially crafted to capture the audience of each console? For PS3, and PS4 KONAMI gave us the cleverly named Déjà Vu mission. Which are a series of homages from several different classic MGS games scattered across particular areas of the MGSV: Ground Zeroes map. Arriving at these locations trigger Polygonal flashbacks of several iconic moments taken from MGS' early history.

Conversely for the Xbox 360, and Xbox One we were given the Jamais-Vu mission. A lone mission for the lone green horned soldier Raiden, from MGS2: Sons of Liberty (or Substance for the Xbox, and Windows PC). Whom since then turned assassin pro during his transition from supporting character into lead role in own title Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. In Jamais-Vu returning Cyborg Ninja Raiden is given his mission to find and eliminate extraterrestrial beings which have infiltrated the Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes containment camp. Note Raiden is sword less throughout this mission.

If you were left wanting, “The grass is greener”, and all that jazz. Then find solice in knowing the playing fields have been leveled. This THURSDAY the 1st of May, regardless of which platform brand you sided with at purchase for MGSV: Ground Zeroes. Prepare yourself to enjoy whichever shade of green was the grass you were previously denied at no further cost than the purchase of MGSV: Ground Zeroes.
